About this item

The MC210CS is a Gigabit media converter that bridges 1000BASE-LX/LH single-mode fiber with 1000BASE-T copper networks, built to IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3z standards. It uses an SC-type connector and transmits/receives at 1310nm, with a copper-side RJ45 port supporting auto-negotiation up to 1000Mbps. It can extend your network over long fiber runs and operates as a standalone device without needing a chassis.
