About this item

This SmallRig cage kit is built specifically for the Nikon Z 8, combining a full aluminum alloy cage, HDMI cable clamp, and ergonomic top handle for low-angle and handheld shooting. The camera locks in at three points for a stable, anti-twist fit, while the Arca-Swiss base plate lets you move quickly between tripod and gimbal setups. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points around the cage and handle let you add monitors, mics, lights, and other rigging accessories as your setup grows.

Full aluminum alloy cage built specifically for the Nikon Z 8, with HDMI cable clamp and top handle included
Camera locks in with three points - a 1/4"-20 screw, a bottom locating screw, and a side screw - for a tight, anti-twist hold
Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the base lets you switch fast between a tripod and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbals, with a built-in magnetic wrench for tool-free setup
Top handle adds 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting points, cold shoes, and NATO rail for monitors, mics, and LED lights (compatible with 2905B/2903B, 3468, 3286)
Dedicated clamp secures HDMI and USB-C cables together with a thumbscrew to keep signal stable and ports protected
Extra 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points around the cage support side handles (2093, 4017), rod clamp 3598, and follow focus 3850
