About this item

The NETGEAR GS108E is an 8-port Gigabit switch aimed at small networks that need more control than a basic unbanaged switch. Its Easy Smart software lets you organize traffic with VLANs and QoS, and check port activity, all from a simple interface. The metal case is small enough for a desk but also has wall-mount holes, and it runs fan-free so there's no noise. Note: this unit is designed for U.S./Canada use.

8 ports of Gigabit Ethernet (1.0Gbps each), auto-negotiating speed with standard Cat5e/Cat6 cables
Easy Smart management interface lets you set up VLANs, QoS traffic priority, and port monitoring
Compact metal housing works either sitting on a desk or mounted on a wall
Fanless design runs silently, with IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet to cut power draw
Model GS108E v4 — built for use in the U.S. and Canada
