About this item

The ANCEL DS500BT is a full-system bidirectional OBD2 scanner that goes past simple code reading — it lets you actively trigger components and confirm they respond correctly. It pulls live data, codes and ECU details from most major systems, and handles dozens of service resets and relearns. A wireless VCI module and 7-inch display let you work around the vehicle instead of being tied to a cable, and results can be saved as reports or screenshots for your records.

Runs 3000+ bidirectional active tests so you can command a part and watch how it reacts before buying a replacement
Reads and clears codes across Engine, Transmission, ABS, SRS, BCM, TPMS, Steering, HVAC and other systems, with built-in DTC definitions and ECU info
Graphs and records live sensor data side by side, plus screenshots, to catch intermittent faults a basic scan would miss
Covers 28+ service/relearn functions such as ABS bleeding, injector coding, crankshaft and gearbox relearn, DPF regeneration, BMS reset, SAS calibration and throttle relearn (availability depends on the vehicle)
Supports CAN FD networks on newer cars, and FCA SGW access for eligible 2018+ Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram models (separate AutoAuth account/fee may apply); for 12V vehicles only, not 24V heavy trucks
Wireless VCI lets you walk around the car during tests, AutoVIN speeds up vehicle ID, and the 7-inch screen sits on a rear stand for easy viewing
