Unitek USB 3.0 IDE/SATA Adapter, Dual-Drive, for 2.5/3.5" HDD/SSD

About this item

This Unitek adapter lets you hook up an IDE drive and a SATA drive to your computer at once, using USB 3.0 for fast transfers up to 6Gbps. It handles 2.5"/3.5" IDE and SATA hard drives, SSDs, and optical drives, making it useful for backups, data recovery, or upgrading old drives. The box includes the adapter itself, a USB 3.0 cable, a 4-pin power cable, and a 12V/2A power adapter. Just note it only works with USB-A ports, not USB-C.

• Connects one IDE drive and one SATA drive at the same time, via dual-head IDE (40-pin/44-pin) plus a SATA III port
• Works with 2.5"/3.5" IDE HDDs, 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs, and optical drives like CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW
• USB 3.0 interface hits up to 6Gbps over SATA III, and stays backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 (needs a USB-A port on your PC)
• Ships with a 12V/2A power adapter — keep it plugged in, especially when both drives are connected together
• 4-pin power cable included specifically for 3.5" IDE drives; SATA drives don't need it
• No drivers needed, supports hot-swapping, and has an On/Off switch plus LED status light
