About this item

The IIWEY N5 is a 4-channel dash cam that captures front, rear, sides and cabin at once, with a 170° lens up front and back and 150° coverage on the sides. It ships with a 128GB SD card already installed, records in a continuous loop, and connects to your phone through 5GHz WiFi and the iiwey/viidure app — no GPS or Bluetooth involved. Note that it draws power only from the original cigarette-lighter charger (not USB), and needs the optional hardwire kit if you want 24-hour parking protection.

• Runs on a supercapacitor, not a battery, and must stay plugged into the original car charger — it will not run off USB or Type-C power
• G-sensor locks footage automatically on impact, and 24H parking mode (time-lapse or collision-triggered) is available with the separately sold hardwire kit
