This Hobart screw-type electrode holder handles up to 400A and takes rods as thick as 5/16". A simple quarter turn of the handle releases or clamps the electrode, and it holds firm even if the rod is bent at an angle. Its compact head burns electrodes down to within 1" and is built to accept #2 cable.
