M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 - Thomann

About this item

The M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 is a straightforward entry-level 88-key MIDI keyboard designed for focused music making. Despite its very affordable price, it delivers an entire full-length piano-style keyboard with velocity sensitivity, along with pitch and modulation wheels – plus arrow keys, transport controls, play, stop and record buttons, and a volume control that all make working with a DAW far more comfortable. Otherwise, besides inputs for sustain and expression pedals, the features are intentionally kept to a minimum, placing the spotlight firmly on playing feel and the expressive, exapnsive 88-key layout. The Keystation is designed for pianists and synth players seeking a simple MIDI keyboard that delivers reliable performance while remaining affordable. Its low weight makes it practical for gigs and recording, while offering an accessible entry point into the world of MIDI keyboards. With a full five octaves, it offers ample range both for playing piano lines live on stage, as well as for composing and producing music with a DAW. Recognising this broad functionality, M-Audio has bundled the Keystation 88 MK3 with a huge range of software: For authentic keyboard sounds, there's AIR's Mini Grand (with seven expressive piano models and advanced resonance control) and Velvet plug-ins (which emulates the unique sounds of five classic electric pianos from the 60s and 70s.) And for beatmaking, sampling, synth lines, and more, the Keystation also comes with the renowned DAW MPC Beats.
