Klein Tools VDV500-920 Wire Tracer Tone Generator and Probe Kit Continuity Tester for Ethernet, Internet, Telephone, Speaker, Coax, Video, and Data Cables, RJ45, RJ11, RJ12

About this item

This Klein Tools kit combines a tone generator and probe for tracing wires in bundles, switches, patch panels, and termination blocks. It works in digital mode on active networks or in analog mode to isolate and trace voice, data, video, and audio lines. LED indicators show continuity and polarity results at a glance, and the rugged ABN clips make it easy to grab onto unstripped wires while testing.

• Digital mode traces cables on live/active networks to find their path and endpoint
• Analog mode isolates individual wire pairs for voice, data, video, and audio cables
• LED indicators clearly show continuity and polarity test results
• Angled Bed of Nails (ABN) clips grip unstripped wires securely for tracing
• Wire mapping checks pin-to-pin connections and detects shielding
• Built-in 60Hz filter for cleaner, more accurate tracing
• RJ45 port works with RJ45, RJ11, and RJ12 data cables
