NETGEAR 8-Port 2.5G Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Network Switch (MS308)

About this item

The NETGEAR MS308 is an 8-port 2.5G Multi-Gigabit switch built to expand a wired network beyond standard gigabit speeds. Each port auto-negotiates between 100M, 1G, and 2.5G, and a non-blocking 40Gbps switching core keeps data moving at full speed, with 802.1p and DSCP support to prioritize important traffic. It's a true plug-and-play unmanaged switch — no configuration needed — housed in a quiet, fanless metal case that can sit on a desk or mount to a wall. Energy Efficient Ethernet (802.3az) helps keep power draw low during everyday use. Note: this unit's power adapter is designed for U.S./Canada power standards.

• 8 ports of 2.5Gbps Multi-Gig Ethernet, each auto-negotiating speed and fully compatible with your existing Cat5e or Cat6 cables
• True unmanaged switch — plug it in and it works, no software or setup screens involved
• Non-blocking switch fabric with 40Gbps of total bandwidth, plus support for 802.1p and DSCP traffic prioritization for smoother performance under load
• Fanless metal housing runs silent, with flexible desktop or wall-mount placement
• Built-in IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet cuts power use automatically
• Box includes the MS308 switch, power adapter, wall-mount kit with rubber feet, and a setup guide
