About this item

This is a brass electric solenoid valve built for high-pressure lines, with 1/2" NPT threaded ports on both ends. It stays closed until 12V DC power is applied, then opens to let flow through — a standard normally-closed 2-way design. The FKM (Viton) diaphragm and wide 5/8" orifice let it work with water, air, various gases, diesel, gasoline, glycol and other Viton-compatible fluids, handling pressures from 5 up to 230 PSI and temperatures up to 265°F.
