This is the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-Celli back protector insert, built to slot into compatible Alpinestars jackets and suits. Its triple-segmented, articulated plate is made from a polyurethane/polyester polymer blend (60% polyurethane, 38% polyester, 2% other) with a honeycomb cell structure, giving CE Level 1 (EN1621-2:2014) protection without adding bulk. Horizontal flex grooves and an ergonomic curve let it move naturally with your back, while the Airmesh inner layer adds breathability. Available in S (height 144-167cm, waist 68-76cm), M (height 164-183cm, waist 76-88cm), and L (height 180-195cm, waist 88-111cm).
