The ZBDongle-E is a Zigbee 3.0 USB coordinator built around the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 chip, paired with a 1.5m shielded extension cable to keep it clear of USB 3.0 interference. It ships pre-loaded with EZNet 6.10.3 firmware and plugs straight into Home Assistant (ZHA) or Zigbee2MQTT on Linux/Raspberry Pi; Windows/macOS users may need the CP2102N/CH9102F driver. With +20dBm output, a rotatable SMA antenna, and an aluminum shell, it handles up to 40 direct devices and 100+ sub-devices, and can even be reflashed as a network extender. Works with SONOFF, ZBMINIR2, and standard Zigbee 3.0 devices for a fully local smart home setup.
