D'Addario Prelude Violin String Set, 4/4 Scale, Light Tension

About this item

This is a full set of D'Addario Prelude violin strings, steel core, in light tension, sized for a 4/4 scale instrument with a 13 inch (328mm) playing length. The light tension makes the bow response smoother and more comfortable, while the steel core keeps the tone clean and consistent. Each string ships sealed to stay protected from moisture and corrosion until you're ready to string up.

• Steel core construction built for a warm, clear tone
• Light tension setting for easier bow response and a softer feel under the fingers
• Durable design that resists wear and holds its sound over time
• Fits full-size (4/4) violins with a 13 inch (328mm) playing length
• Works well across classical, fiddle, jazz, and other playing styles
• Sealed in individual pouches to protect against corrosion before use
