About this item

This Vivitar lens gives Canon DSLR shooters real reach: 500mm on its own, or 1000mm with the included 2x doubler. It's a manual, fixed-focus design with multi-coated optics, a 67mm filter thread, and a tripod collar for extra stability. Because it's fully manual, you'll shoot in Manual or Aperture-priority mode, ideally braced on a monopod or tripod. Everything you need to mount it on a Canon body — adapter, teleconverter, filter, hood, and cleaning cloth — comes in the box.
