About this item

This infrared thermometer gives you two ways to check temperature: a laser scan for safe, no-touch readings or the included K-type probe for direct contact with liquids and surfaces. It reads from -40°F up to 1922°F with the infrared sensor, and 14°F to 932°F with the probe for tighter accuracy, all shown instantly on a color backlit screen with MIN/MAX/AVG tracking and alarms. The 30:1 distance ratio makes it useful for kitchens, ovens, grills, cars, HVAC systems, and metal or industrial surfaces. Note that it's built for objects, not for taking human or animal temperature.
