KICKER 51HS12 Hideaway Compact Powered Subwoofer, 12-Inch

About this item

The KICKER 51HS12 Hideaway is a self-contained 12-inch powered subwoofer built into a thin all-aluminum box, made to tuck under a seat or into any tight corner of the car. Thanks to FIT+ technology it reads signals from 0.25V up to 40V (400W at 4Ω), so it hooks into most modern factory or aftermarket stereos, including newer start/stop vehicles, with no extra line output converter. It runs on a built-in 230W RMS amp with full tuning controls — adjustable low-pass and high-pass filters, phase switch, and KickEQ bass boost — plus a wired remote so you can set the bass level right from the driver's seat. Despite standing only 3-1/2 inches tall, it covers a 25–120 Hz range and weighs about 17.5 lbs.
