Rode VideoMic Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone with Rycote Lyre Shock

About this item

The Rode VideoMic is a compact shotgun microphone made for pairing with video cameras and camcorders. It delivers clean, low-noise audio thanks to its condenser capsule and built-in Rycote Lyre shock mount, which isolates the mic from handling and camera noise. Power comes from a single 9V battery, with a status LED and a two-step high-pass filter to manage wind and rumble. It slides onto any standard camera shoe and connects through a 1/8" stereo mini jack, with a windscreen included in the box.

• Directional shotgun condenser mic built for on-camera video recording
• Rycote Lyre shock mount reduces handling noise and vibration
• Rugged ABS housing keeps it lightweight without feeling flimsy
• Runs on a single 9V battery with a low-battery LED indicator
• Switchable high-pass filter (flat or 80Hz) cuts low-end rumble
• Mounts on any standard camera shoe, outputs via 1/8" stereo mini jack, windscreen included
