This media converter comes with a 1310nm single-mode LC SFP module already installed, ready to run on OS2 fiber up to 20 km without sourcing a separate transceiver. The copper side auto-senses 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDI-X, while rear DIP switches handle fiber speed selection, Link Fault Pass-through, and storm control. It's a compact, fanless unit rated for 0 to 70°C, and the box includes the SFP, power adapter, Cat6 cable, and mounting hardware — everything needed for one end of the link.

Ships with a 1310nm single-mode LC SFP already installed — plug into OS2 9/125 fiber up to 20 km (12.43 miles) right away; the SFP cage is standard and swappable later.
RJ45 copper port auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto MDI/MDI-X, so no crossover cable needed; meets IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3z/802.3ab.
Rear DIP switches let you pick 1000Base-LX or 100Base-LX, turn Link Fault Pass-through on/off, enable broadcast storm control, or force speeds on either port.
LFP support means a fiber-side break also drops the copper link, so the far switch actually sees the fault; jumbo frame support keeps throughput steady for backup and storage traffic.
