About this item

This is a matched pair of Gigabit media converters built to bridge copper Ethernet and single-mode fiber over long distances, up to 20km using a single SC fiber strand (Bidi, 1310nm). Each unit has one RJ45 port supporting 10/100/1000Mbps with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX, and connects to standard Cat.5e UTP/STP cable up to 100 meters. They run on a 5V-1A UL certified power supply, making it simple to link two network points where running copper alone isn't practical.
