About this item

This is a pair of BiDi Gigabit fiber media converters (model BYXGD-1-1) that bridge single-mode fiber to standard RJ45 copper Ethernet. Each unit has one SC/LC fiber port and one SFP slot, with reach up to 20, 40 or 80 km depending on the SFP module fitted. The metal, EMI-shielded housing is built to run from -30°C to +70°C. Note: the base unit ships without an SFP module unless the listing variation includes one.
