This media converter bridges Gigabit Ethernet to 850nm multimode fiber through a built-in ST connector, supporting OM1 through OM5 fiber grades with reach up to 550m/1804ft on OM2 and above. The copper side auto-senses 10/100/1000 speeds and handles jumbo frames up to 9000 bytes, working with any standard switch, router, NAS, or IP camera. It runs fanless with no moving parts and installs on a desktop or wall using the included mounting ears - just plug in the fiber and RJ45 cable and the link comes up, with four DIP switches available for extra control. Note: this unit only works with multimode fiber (850nm, ST connector) - not single-mode.
