The X-Tronic 5040-XR3 combines a 60W soldering iron, a 500W hot air rework gun, and a preheating station in one digital, ESD-safe unit. Both the iron and the hot air gun plug in separately and run off a PID-controlled system that keeps temperatures locked in and flags over-temp, short-circuit, or overload issues automatically. The preheat bed fits boards up to 6.5" wide, and the adjustable hot air arm extends up to 7" above it for hands-free rework. It comes bundled with 5 hot air nozzles, a 5x magnifying lamp, anti-static tweezers, an IC popper, and desoldering wick.
