iFi Hip-dac2 Gold Edition - Portable Balanced DAC Headphone Amplifier for Android, iPhone with USB Input Only/Outputs: 3.5mm Unbalanced / 4.4mm Balanced – MQA Decoder

About this item

The iFi hip-dac2 Gold Edition is a pocket-sized DAC and headphone amplifier that connects to your phone through USB input only. It decodes MQA natively and handles any high-res audio format, pushing up to 400mW through either the 3.5mm unbalanced or 4.4mm balanced output. With 6-8 hours of battery life and a slim gold-finished body, it's built to travel with you.

• Gold Limited Edition of the iFi hip-dac2 — same portable DAC/amp, dressed in gold.
• USB input only: plugs straight into your Android or iPhone, no extra cables needed.
• Outputs both ways — 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced — so it fits whatever headphones you own.
• Built-in MQA decoder plus native DAC converts Spotify, Tidal MQA, MP3 and other high-res formats properly.
• Onboard amp delivers up to 400mW, enough to drive in-ear monitors or bigger over-ear headphones.
• Battery runs about 6-8 hours depending on use, and the slim body fits easily in a pocket.
