About this item

This honing guide clamps onto chisels and planer blades to hold a precise, consistent sharpening angle against the whetstone. It fits blade widths from 0.2 to 2.55 inches, secured by a metal stud so nothing slips out while you work. A wide bearing roller on the base keeps the jig stable as you glide it back and forth, and the aluminum alloy body resists rust for long-term use.

Holds the chisel at a fixed angle against the whetstone so the whole edge sharpens evenly
Adjust the distance between blade tip and guide to set standard honing angles; off-center roller works well with shorter planer blades
Fits chisels and planer blades from 0.2 to 2.55 inches wide, locked in place with a metal stud so the blade stays put
Wide bearing roller underneath lets you move the jig back and forth smoothly without tipping
Aluminum alloy body, sturdy enough for most chisels and resistant to rust and corrosion
