About this item

The Autel AL519 is a handheld OBD2 diagnostic tool built for standard OBD II cars from 1996 onward. It covers all 10 OBD2 modes, giving you code reading and clearing, live data, freeze frame data, I/M readiness checks, EVAP leak testing, and vehicle info retrieval (VIN, Calibration ID, CVNs). It's a step up from basic code readers, useful for figuring out why your check engine light is on and getting ready for a smog test. Note: it won't work on FCA vehicles (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep) from 2017 onward or vehicles with an SGW module, and it doesn't offer full engine system diagnostics.
