About this item

The NETGEAR A6150 is a small USB 2.0 adapter that gives a Windows or Mac computer dual band AC1200 WiFi — up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz — for smoother streaming, gaming and video calls. It only works with Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS 10.8.3 through Catalina (10.15.7); it is not compatible with Windows 11 or macOS Big Sur and later, and needs a driver installed before first use. You'll still need your own WiFi router and internet connection, since this adapter only adds wireless capability to your computer. Its nano size (20 x 14 x 7 mm) keeps other USB ports free, and it supports WPA2/WPA3 security along with Beamforming+ and MU-MIMO for better range and speed.

USB 2.0 nano WiFi adapter (model A6150-100PAS) — plugs into a free USB port to add wireless to a desktop or laptop; needs an existing router and internet service, it's not a router or modem itself
Dual band AC1200 speed: up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, good for streaming, gaming and video calls
Works only with Windows 7, 8, 10 and macOS 10.8.3 through 10.15.7 Catalina — not supported on Windows 11 or macOS Big Sur and newer; driver must be installed first, no plug-and-play
Tiny nano form factor (20 x 14 x 7 mm, 0.18 oz) that won't block nearby USB ports, with Beamforming+ for better range and MU-MIMO for smoother multi-device performance
Secures your connection with WPA2 and WPA3 encryption support
FCC certified for use in the US and Canada, from NETGEAR's long-running home networking lineup
