Petzl BOREO Durable Helmet with Enhanced Protection (Climbing, Caving, Via Ferrata)

About this item

The Petzl BOREO is a rugged helmet made for climbing, mountaineering, caving, via ferrata, and canyoning. A hard ABS shell paired with an EPP/EPS foam liner keeps it compact on the head while standing up to repeated knocks and scrapes. It carries Petzl's Top and Side Protection rating, with extra coverage at the back for hits from the side, front, or rear. Certified to CE EN 12492 and UIAA, with large vents for airflow and 4 clips for attaching a headlamp.

• Tough ABS outer shell shrugs off scratches and impacts, built for caving, climbing, and canyoning
• Dual-foam liner (EPP + EPS) locked inside the hard shell absorbs shock while staying low-profile
• Extended rear coverage under Petzl's Top and Side Protection design guards against hits from every angle
• Large vent holes keep air moving so your head doesn't overheat during hard effort
• Soft headband molds to your head and folds flat into the shell for easy storage
• 4 clips let you mount a headlamp securely
