Makita XAG04Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4-1/2” / 5" Cut-Off/Angle Grinder, Tool Only

About this item

This is Makita's 18V LXT cordless angle grinder (model XAG04Z), built with a brushless motor for more power, cooler operation, and longer tool life compared to standard motors. It automatically adjusts speed and torque as conditions change and shuts down instantly if the wheel gets stuck, keeping cuts smooth and safe. Suited for cutting and grinding tile, concrete, pipe, conduit, and similar materials on 4-1/2" to 5" wheels. Sold as tool only — battery and charger are not included.

• Brushless motor design skips the carbon brushes, running cooler with a longer service life
• Auto-adjusts speed and torque on the fly for consistent performance under load
• Cuts power to the wheel instantly if it binds or stalls, thanks to Active Feedback-sensing Technology
• Smart energy management from the BL motor stretches runtime up to 50% longer per charge
• Handles 4-1/2"/5" wheels for grinding, cutting, and sanding tile, concrete, pipe, and conduit
• Tool only — no battery or charger included, runs on Makita 18V LXT batteries
